Jean René Brunetières is Engineer of Bridges, Waters and Forests, Special Adviser to the Chair economy climate in Paris Dauphine University , Engineer graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. After an early career in geotechnics in Algeria, he led various activities in the administration of the equipment (including as regional director and regional equipment) in the Social Affairs (Principal private secretary of the minister, Director general of the French drug agency …) and in the Ministry for ecology, energy and sustainable development (Coordinator of the Special Committee for Sustainable Development in the ministerial Council for ecology and sustainable development). Lecturer at Sciences Po, at the Paris 1 university, and in the French National School of Administration (ENA), he teaches public management and sustainable development in France and abroad. Since January 2013, he joined the Climate Economics Chair of the University Paris-Dauphine to develop research on the carbon economy in the construction and planning.
